About the Artist
Martha
Stephens was
born in Colorado and raised in San Jose, CA. From a young
age, Martha's family encouraged her to express her creativity.
Exploration of nature and travel, as well as the influence
of helping others, passionately inspires her various abstract
expressionistic series of work.
The
"Possibility" and "Unconditional Love"
series evoke profound thoughts of life, as well as the absurdities.
Her evolving landscape series enhances interior environments
with the inspirational beauty of the out of doors and travel
to exotic locales. Martha continues to explore the influencing
potentials of living and motivations of people by using
mixed medias and her own imaginative style.
